Dr. Shane Sanders, O.D.

Dr. Shane Sanders provides comprehensive optometric care with emphasis on diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular disease, and also has extensive experience in pre and post-operative care. Dr. Sanders builds patient relationships by providing high-quality of care, and with his comforting and candid bed-side manner.

Dr. Sanders is from Prescott, Arizona and received a double-major Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts where he also served as the president of the student chapter of the American Academy of Optometry for 2 years. Dr. Sanders completed disease-focused externships at M&M Eye Institute and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

In addition to his clinic schedule, Dr. Sanders also has extensive teaching experience as an adjunct professor and lead attending for fourth-year students, and director of a residency program in ocular & systemic disease for new doctors of optometry.

Dr. Sanders and his wife, Bailie, have a son and two dogs and reside in Prescott, Arizona. They all enjoy an outdoor adventure as much as relaxing at home with a good show, and always enjoy the local festivities our great town has to offer.
